About CHC Utah

Community Health Charities Utah is a federation of America's premier health organizations that have joined together to raise charitable contributions in the workplace. Employee donations are used to support these member charities and provide research, patient services and outreach in local communities. Employees designate the charity or charities where they want their donations to go, and that’s where they go.

Mission, Vision, and Purpose

The mission of CHC Utah is to enhance the operations, programs, and services of its member health-related charities through access to workplace giving and to provide employees at work sites access to the full range of information, services and referrals provided by member charities, in order to improve the health and well-being of employees and to encourage community involvement.

The vision of CHC Utah is to provide every employee the opportunity to support medical research, health education, and patient services through charitable giving in the workplace.

The purpose of CHC Utah is to increase community awareness of member health charities, promote wellness of employees through their workplaces, and facilitate successful charitable giving campaigns.

Community Health Charities is one of the most cost-effective non-profit organizations in the country, with national overhead costs at just 6.3%. Our Charities

Community Health Charities of Utah currently supports 21 local health charities, all of which are doing important work to improve the health and quality of life of Utah. It is likely that every employee – or someone they know or love – has been affected by at least one of these worthy causes.

Our Volunteers

Community Health Charities of Utah is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization. The Board of Directors is made up of community volunteers from the business and non-profit arena.

Community Health Charities of Utah is an affiliate office of Community Health Charities of America. Nationwide, 39 affiliate offices of CHC work together for a healthier America.
